The Terminator 4 ASIC represents Chelsio´s fourth-generation TCP offload (TOE) design, third-generation iSCSI design, and second-generation iWARP (RDMA) implementation. In addition to full TCP and iSCSI offload, T4 supports full Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) offload. The T4 will begin sampling to key OEM partners in Q2, and broad availability is expected in Q3. Chelsio´s Unified Manager (version 1.1) centrally manages all Chelsio network adapter cards on the network across Windows and Linux environments. It includes an intuitive user interface through its graphical user interface (GUI) or through the command line interface (CLI) tool. Chelsio Virtual Multi-Port Software Virtual Uplink Software: Virtual Uplink Software is a new driver that gives users of VMware ESX 4.0 the flexibility for virtual consolidation of existing Gigabit links over Chelsio 10Gb Unified Wire adapters.

Chelsio´s Virtual Multi-Port Software is a solution that provides, users who have deployed VMware ESX 4.0, the flexibility of virtually consolidating their existing 1Gb links over a physical 10G Ethernet adapter. This allows for consolidation of networking equipment notably in terms of switch ports and cables by using 10Gb infrastructure while maintaining the existing 1G based ESX setup. Chelsio´s software provides this consolidation keeping the infrastructure update transparent to the ESX hypervisor. This software will make the 10G adapter appear to the hypervisor as up to eight virtual adapters.
The typical traffic an ESX server generates can be classified in four categories as an example:

• Virtual Machine I/O Traffic
